Tilumo Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how Tilumo, a mobile puzzle game for Android, handles information.

Tilumo is operated by Popress LTD, located at 278 Dizengoff Street, Tel Aviv, Israel, and published on Google Play under the developer name Bidascale ("we", "us", or "our").

This policy applies specifically to Tilumo and is separate from the general privacy policy of the Bidascale website.

2. Privacy at a Glance

  • Tilumo does not require an account or registration.

  • The game contains no advertisements or in-app purchases.

  • The game works offline without an internet connection.

  • Analytics collection is disabled by default and is only enabled with your permission.

  • You can decline analytics without affecting gameplay.

  • You can change your analytics preference at any time using Privacy in the game.

3. Information Stored on Your Device

Tilumo stores the following information locally:

  • Your current game board and progress.

  • Your current score and best score.

  • Your analytics preference.

This information is not transmitted to us through the game's local save functionality.

Depending on your Android device and backup settings, some application data may be included in backups managed by Android or your Google account.

You can delete locally stored game data by clearing the application's storage or uninstalling Tilumo. Separate device backups may be subject to your Google account settings.

4. Optional Analytics

If you select Allow, Tilumo uses Google Analytics for Firebase, provided by Google, to understand how players use the game and improve the experience.

Analytics collection is disabled until you provide permission.

Gameplay Events

When analytics are enabled, we may collect information about:

  • Starting a game.

  • Restarting a game.

  • Finishing a game.

  • Reaching the 2048 tile for the first time in a game.

Depending on the event, associated information may include game outcome, score, number of moves, highest tile reached, duration of play, and whether it was your first game.

We do not send your game board contents or record individual swipes.

Automatic Analytics Information

Google Analytics for Firebase may automatically collect:

  • First app opens, sessions, session duration, and app updates.

  • A randomly generated app-instance identifier.

  • Device model, operating system version, and app version.

  • Device language and general geographic information.

  • Approximate location, such as country, region, or city, which Google may derive from IP address information.

We do not request GPS permission or collect precise device location for analytics purposes.

The app-instance identifier is used to measure usage and returning installations. Although it does not directly identify you by name, it can associate activity with a particular app installation.

Information We Do Not Intentionally Collect

Tilumo does not request or intentionally collect your contacts, photographs, personal files, precise GPS location, or the contents of your game board.

We do not use Android Advertising ID collection or advertising personalization, and the game does not contain an advertising SDK.

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address and any information you voluntarily provide so that we can respond to your inquiry.

5. How We Use Information

We use optional analytics to:

  • Understand game usage and player engagement.

  • Measure game starts, restarts, completion, and progression.

  • Understand how often players return to the game.

  • Identify opportunities to improve gameplay and usability.

We do not sell gameplay analytics information or use it to deliver personalized advertising.

6. Sharing Information

When analytics are enabled, Google receives information as the provider of Google Analytics for Firebase.

Google processes this information under its applicable service terms and privacy practices.

We do not share gameplay analytics with advertising networks for personalized advertising.

7. Data Retention

Our intended retention period for user-level and event-level information in Google Analytics is two months. This period is controlled through the data retention settings of our Google Analytics property.

Deletion is performed according to Google's processing schedule. Aggregated reporting information may remain available for longer.

Disabling analytics prevents further collection from the app and resets locally stored analytics information. It does not automatically delete information previously transmitted to Google's servers.

We retain information received through privacy inquiries only as necessary to respond to those inquiries and meet applicable legal obligations.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Allow or Decline Analytics

When you first open Tilumo, you can choose Allow or No thanks.

If you decline, analytics remains disabled and the game continues to work normally.

Change Your Preference

You can change your preference at any time through Privacy on the game screen.

Turning analytics off stops future analytics collection and clears locally stored Firebase Analytics data, including resetting the app-instance identifier.

If you later enable analytics again, a new identifier may be generated.

Privacy Requests

You can contact info@bidascale.com to request information about our data practices or to submit a privacy-related request.

Because Tilumo does not require accounts or associate gameplay analytics with your name, we may not be able to identify a particular analytics record as belonging to you.

We will review requests in accordance with applicable law and the technical controls available to us.

9. Security

Google Analytics for Firebase uses encryption in transit to protect data transmitted to its services.

We take reasonable measures to protect information processed in connection with Tilumo. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure.

10. Children's Privacy

Tilumo is not specifically directed to children under the age of 13.

We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe a child has provided personal information in connection with Tilumo, please contact us at info@bidascale.com so that we can review the matter and take appropriate action.

11. International Data Processing

Google may process analytics information in the United States and other countries where Google or its service providers operate.

The applicable safeguards depend on the services, contractual arrangements, and jurisdictions involved.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when our practices, the game, or legal requirements change.

We will update the effective date when changes are made. Where appropriate, we may also notify users of material changes through the app or its store listing.
